Beautifully and intricately carved statue of Krishna in his 'Natavarasana' pose with flute. Kishna, the 8th incarnation of Lord Vishnu, is also an eternal enchanter of the universe. Natavarasana is the pose he is mostly seen in; it is said to bring tranquility and contentment. This statue is carved out of the natural green stone found in Odisha. The temple sculpture craft is followed for generations by the artisans in and around Puri and Bhubaneswar.
